16 Day South Africa, Dutch Youth Tour
Arrive in Jo’burg at OR Tambo International Airport for a meet and greet by your guide. Transferred to Pretoria where you will have an Tour of the city including the Voortrekker Monument and the impressive government offices at the Union Buildings.
Leaving Pretoria behind us we head towards the Blyde River Canyon being the worlds largest green canyon and the 3rd largest in the world. We drive along the Panorama Route with views that are truly breathtaking. Stopping at Gods Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and the Three Rondavels.
Today those views will literally take your breath away with various hikes to choose from in the Blyde River Canyon.
After an adventurous morning, we make our way down to the Lowveld and towards the Greater Kruger National Park (We stay on one of the many Private Reserves in the area) where we have our first sight of the African bush and the wildlife on a Sunset Game Drive.
No better way to start the morning with a fresh cup of coffee and a bush walk in the wild African bush to learn more about the smaller creatures, trees and the spoors (tracks and scents) the animals leave behind.
After an exciting morning in the bush, we continue onto the South of Kruger National Park. This evening you embark on a Sunset Game Drive within the Kruger Park.
Spending a full day in Kruger National Park
This morning we depart for the Kingdom of Eswatini (Swaziland), visiting a Glass Factory and a Cultural village for a insight into the Swazi culture and traditional dance show on route to Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary.
Today you have a free morning to partake in optional activities at Mlilwane, ranging from Hiking, Mountain Biking and Horseback Safaris.
In the afternoon we will visit some of the Swazi Craft Markets and Swazi Candles where handcrafted candles are made in hundreds geometric shapes patterns, shapes and decorative animals.
Choose to have a lazy morning in Mlilwane a tranquil scenic paradise. Or partake in some adrenaline activities such as White Water Rafting, Quad Bikes, Canopy Tours and also Caving.
This afternoon we make our way to Hlane Royal National Park. Hearing the lions Roar at night is truly remarkable.
After spending the night under the stars opt to do a sunrise game drive to find the lions that where keeping you up all night, with a great chance to get close up to Rhinos.
After breakfast we make our to St. Lucia crossing back into South Africa for afternoon spent on a boat cruise to view Hippos and Crocs and a large variety of bird species.

Making our way to Durban where you have a chance to visit Moses Mabhida Stadium and take the big leap with a 80 meter free fall off the arch into the center of the stadium.
Waking up to the fresh smell of the sea this morning you can chill-out on the beach, learn to surf, visit Ushaka marine world or if you got some motivation to take on the big leap.
This afternoon we make our way to the Southern Drakensberg the South African equivalent of the Alps in Europe.
A variety of activities on offer most popular is to pack the passports and head up Sani Pass in a 4 x 4 to the highest Kingdom in the world Lesotho a country surrounded by South Africa. Not only will you visit Africa’s highest pub but also an educational lesson into the history of the pass and the Basotho people with birding, plants and animals along the way.
Enjoy a morning Hiking, Horse Riding or simply relaxing in the Southern Drakensberg before we depart to the Northern Drakensberg. Passing by Nelson Mandela’s Capture site.
If you had a big night last night around the bar, pool and hot tub the best way to cure that is with hike in the Royal Natal Park. Visit Bushman Paintings on a guided hike or simply go for a refreshing dip in the cascades before making our way back to Pretoria.
Last breakfast together as a group, today we make our way to Soweto for a tour around the township before we depart ways at OR Tambo Airport.
